Does Prologis-Duke Deal Signal Industrial Peak?: Reactions from Wall Street analysts to Prologis’ $26 billion agreement to acquire Duke Realty were generally positive for both industrial real estate investment trusts. However, investments in Prologis stock have not been so favorable. The REIT’s stock is down from about $173 per share in late April, before Duke rejected an offer, and fell further this week to about $111. That drop has some observers speculating about what the deal says about the state of industrial real estate.
