Fort Pierce scored one of Florida’s largest industrial leases as Atlanta’s BroadRange Logistics signed on for more than 1 million square feet at the Interstate Crossroads Logistics Center and made the facility its third location in the state.

BroadRange Logistics is the sole occupant at the Interstate Crossroads Logistics Center after occupying the entire facility at 5001 Crossroads Parkway at the end of last year. The company operates two other Florida warehouses, farther north near Orlando and Ocala. The Fort Pierce location is the largest of the three.

The deal was selected for a 2025 CoStar Impact Award for lease of the year for Port St. Lucie/Fort Pierce, as judged by a team of real estate professionals familiar with the market.

SL Industrial Partners, a division of New Jersey's The Silverman Group, broke ground on the facility in 2021 after acquiring the 132-acre site just over five miles southwest of downtown Fort Pierce. The warehouse sits immediately next to Interstate 95 and Florida's Turnpike.

Amenities at the facility include 40-foot ceiling heights, LED lighting, ESFR sprinklers, 232 dock-high doors, four drive-in doors, 472 parking spaces and 412 trailer spaces.

About the deal: BroadRange Logistics signed a 1,013,833-square-foot lease at Interstate Crossroads Logistics Center.

What the judges said: "Leasing such a large space to one tenant is a huge achievement and will bring a lot of jobs and opportunities to the area which are vitally needed," said Melanie Lundy, an operations manager at Rich Properties. Elijah Wooten, the economic development administrator for the city of Port St. Lucie, added that "BroadRange Logistics will have a major economic impact in St. Lucie County and the broader Treasure Coast region."

They made it happen: Robert Smith, Kirk Nelson, David Murphy and Monica Wonus of CBRE represented the landlord. Russell Hofstetter, Bob Burdell, J.R. Wright and John Gosnell of Strategic Real Estate Partners represented the tenant.
