The Inland Empire apartment market is beginning to emerge from the heaviest phase of its recent construction cycle as renter demand keeps pace with a large volume of new completions, allowing occupancy to improve and giving landlords renewed pricing power. Vacancy remains elevated compared with the market's historical norms, but conditions are moving in a more favorable direction as absorption outpaces new supply growth.
