Philippe Bijaoui

Bijaoui is the new senior vice president of development, economy, midscale and premium brands, Europe and North Africa, at Accor. For the last three years, he worked as managing director, France, at business advisory Christie & Co.

Imelda Shllaku

Shllaku was named general manager of Oetker Collection’s debut Italian property, the Hotel La Palma, which will open this spring. She comes from roles at such hotels and firms as Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co., Bulgari Hotels & Resorts and the Armani Hotel, Dubai.

Roland Fasel

Fasel has been appointed chief operating officer at Maybourne Hotel Group, where he will begin in April. His post until that date is in the same role at Aman Hotels, where he has been for the last six years.

Eva Mount

Mount was appointed general manager at The BoTree, a luxury hotel due to open in July in London’s Marylebone district. Mount has a storied career, working at such hotels and firms as the Athenaeum Hotel & Residences; Arch London and Firmdale Hotels.

Marco Kuefner

Kuefner was named as hotel manager of the 386-room Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in Dubai, a promotion from his previous role as director of rooms, The Carlton Tower Jumeirah, London.

Louise O’Reilly

Appointed general manager of the 150-room Courtyard by Marriott Sheffield, England, which is opening this summer. It is the first Marriott-branded hotel in the city and will be managed by RBH Hospitality Management.

João Fidalgo

Started at Zien Group, the parent of Eden Hotels, as its director of development, arriving at the Amsterdam-based from CitizenM, where he was head of project management, Europe.

Stefan Frank

Frank has ccepted a new role at Deutsche Hospitality as general manager of the 303-room Steigenberger Icon Frankfurter Hof. Frank remains as the firm’s senior director, operations, Central Europe, and earlier in his career was general manager of its Steigenberger Airport Frankfurt.

Alessandro Caristo

Caristo was named the general manager of Evok Collection’s 43-room Nolinski Venezia in Venice, Italy, due to open this summer on the Calle Larga XXII Marzo and the French hotel firm’s first hotel outside of Paris.

Tony Roberts

Roberts was appointed to the newly created role of chief commercial officer at Warner Leisure Hotels, which has 15 hotels, all of which are in the U.K. He arrives from Seabourn Cruise Line where he was vice president, commercial operations, guest services and head of U.K and Europe.
