Edinburgh's famous Jenners dept store changes hands

Glen Properties has completed the sale of Edinburgh’s famous Jenners department store to a private European investor understood to be Danish billionaire owner of the Bestseller Group Anders Povlsen for £53m or a yield of 4.64%, CoStar News can reveal.

Jenners, which was bought by House of Fraser in 2005, is Scotland’s oldest department store having first opened for business of the capital’s famous Princes Street in 1838.
