The fallout from Amazon's decision to scrap a headquarters hub in New York City drew protests Friday from former supporters, who chanted "Boycott Amazon" in front of the online giant's first bookstore location on the busy retail strip near the corner of 34th Street and Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan.
