Lisa Neubueser

Neubueser has joined Luxembourg-based real estate investment management firm IREMIS S.à r.l. as its director, hotel and leisure. She started on Sept. 1 and arrived with 15 years of pan-European investment experience at such firms as Cycas Hospitality, Greystar, Invesco Real Estate, Vertiq Capital and Zoku.

Louise Gillon

Gillon has joined London-based Puma Property Finance as director, head of hotel finance. Her previous role was at bank Leumi U.K., where she spent the last 17 years. In May, Puma announced a partnership with Madison International Realty, which included a large investment to underpin Puma’s new institutional credit fund series that it is hoped will build a seed loan portfolio of more than £150 million that will leverage overall funding of more than £350 million.

Lily Wecker

Wecker has been named CEO at Aethos Hotels. where she arrives from being director of development for Europe, Middle East and Africa and North America at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. Prior to that, she was vice president of investments at owner Zetland Capital Partners.

Tadas Ėvaltas

Ėvaltas has been appointed by Apex Alliance Hotel Management to be the general manager of its hotel, the 217-room Marmorosch Bucharest, Autograph Collection, in the capital of Romania. Ėvaltas has spent nearly all of the last seven years as general manager of the 164-room Hilton Garden Inn Vilnius City Center in his native Lithuania.

Jochem Meijerink

Meijerink has accepted the position of hotel manager at the 269-room hotel Claridge’s, London, operated by hotel firm Maybourne. A citizen of The Netherlands, Meijerink arrived in Mayfair only from the Westminster district of London where he was hotel manager at the 279-room Corinthia London, where he spent the past 11 years.

Sasha Tyas

Tyas has been appointed as general manager of Minor Hotels’ 80-room Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas, which is within UNESCO biosphere reserve of Baa Atoll. Her 25 years of service to the hotel industry has included roles at Anguilla’s 113-room Cap Juluca, a Belmond Hotel; 41-room Mango House Seychelles, LXR Hotels & Resorts, and as general manager of the 224-berth Ilma yacht, part of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.

Julien Bardet

Bardet has been named as general manager of the Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris. His hotel career has taken him to Asia and the U.S., including at three hotels affiliated with the St. Regis brand — the 124-room St. Regis Bali Resort; 238-room St. Regis New York, and 212-room St. Regis Bal Harbor Resort, Miami.

Björn Wild

Wild is the new general manager of the 45-room Finca Banyols, Vignette Collection, which is scheduled to open by the end of the year in Alaró, Mallorca, in Spain’s Balearic Islands. He also is chief operating officer at Barcelona-based White Brand Hotels, where he has been in that role since June 2020.

Frank Veenstra

Veenstra has been named chief development officer at Kempinski Hotels. His career has seen stops at NH Hotels & Resorts, Scandic Hotels, Mainstay Hospitality and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.

Guillermo Burgers Díaz

Burgers Díaz has been named EasyHotel’s director of operations in Spain. He has more than 20 years of experience at international hotel firms such as Hilton, Marriott International and Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts.

Tom Walsh

Walsh is the new director of sales and marketing at London’s 331-room room St. Ermin’s Hotel, Autograph Collection.
