Harrods plans major Hammersmith office extension to unlock Knightsbridge dept store growth

Harrods has lodged plans to extend its offices in Hammersmith in west London by a further 70,000 sq ft for its own occupation in a move set to open up further redevelopment of its famous department store in Knightsbridge, CoStar News can reveal.

CoStar News revealed in December 2011 that Harrods had bought the 18,429 sq m (190,000 sq ft) offices at 68-72 Hammersmith Road in Hammersmith in west London for its own occupation.
