Retail Rents in Salt Lake City Grow Faster Than National Average

Annual Rent Growth Moderates From Previous Year for First Time Since 2017

Retail landlords in Salt Lake City enjoyed another year of above-average rent growth, but gains moderated from the previous year. At 6.2%, retail rents grew faster than the national average of 3.6% last year. However, rent growth in Salt Lake City fell short of 2022’s gains of 7.4%. For the first time since 2017, annual retail rent growth decelerated from the previous year.
