After launching an investment fund in 2021 to acquire data centers, life sciences properties and R&D facilities, a private real estate investor purchased a majority stake in 451 D St. in Boston's Seaport District, one of the first traditional office buildings in the region to be converted into life science/lab space, a trend that has since come to dominate the local office market.
