Ecolab Inc. strives to be a global sustainability leader via its water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions along with optimizing water and energy use. The St. Paul, Minnesota-based company just re-upped its existing warehouse lease in Huntington, Indiana, for another decade.
In July 2022, Ecolab signed a 10-year renewal for 199,813 square feet of manufacturing space in Huntington. The deal was recognized as the lease of the year in Fort Wayne, Indiana, as part of the 2023 CoStar Impact Awards, as judged by real estate professionals familiar with the market.
The company first leased 131,786 square feet of the warehouse in 2016, according to CoStar data. The lease renewal signed in July 2022 locks the company in until June 2032.
The property is lined with two drive-ins, 31 external docks and 480 volt, three-phase power. Ecolab shares the space with Child's Play Autism Centers, which leases 25,103 square feet of the building.
About the project: The warehouse was built in 1958 and renovated in 2003. It holds 273,205 square feet of rentable building area.
