U+I wins planning approval for Maidstone housing scheme

Plans by U+I to build a residential development on Royal Engineers Road in Maidstone have been given the go-ahead by the council’s planning committee.

The proposals will see the former paper mill site next to Springfield roundabout, overlooking the rover Medway, redeveloped into a residential area with 310 new homes, public realm and landscaping improvements.
