Lidl given go-ahead for new London HQ

Lidl UK has won planning permission to build new London headquarters in Tolworth, south west London, that will allow the discount supermarket to nearly double the size of its head office workforce.

The grocery chain were last night given the go ahead by the Royal Borough of Kingston, paving the way for new 240,000 sq ft building, with room to grow its 450-strong head office workforce to nearly 900 and boasting state of the art facilities.
