New York giant banks on Exchequer Court

A New York-based insurance giant is making its maiden property purchase in the City of London, having agreed terms to buy Exchequer Court for £105m, in what is believed to be the first acquisition in London from a North American investor since the US presidential election, CoStar News can reveal.

US property and casualty insurance firm AmTrust Financial Services has agreed terms to buy Exchequer Court at 25-33 St May Axe, EC3, from Australian superannuation fund QSuper, advised by AEW Europe.
