HMRC zeroes in on Arena Central for Brum mega requirement

The Government Property Unit is in advanced talks to take 240,000 sq ft of offices at Miller Developments’ Arena Central scheme in central Birmingham, CoStar News understands.

The Government Property Unit (GPU) has appointed JLL to handle the search for new offices in the Midlands city with three developments in Birmingham city centre having been shortlisted for the first tranche of a larger office requirement. The requirement is on behalf of a number of government departments including HMRC.
