Plans for Waterloo Station retail makeover given the green light

Plans to bring the former Eurostar terminal at Waterloo back into use by transforming it into a shopping and leisure complex were the go-ahead by Lambeth Council last night.

London & Continental Railways (LCR), the Department for Transport and Network Rail want to create 135,000 sq ft of space for restaurants and shops on the site of the Waterloo International Terminal (WIT).
