Government hunting for 600,000 sq ft in Glasgow

An HMRC-led amalgamation of government departments is hunting for up to 600,000 sq ft of office space in and around Glasgow, in what is one of the biggest requirements ever launched in Scotland, CoStar News can reveal.

Developers in Scotland’s largest city are now jostling for position, as it is expected that the massive requirement would act as a kicker for a new development to come out of the ground, as there is not one existing scheme which could accommodate a requirement of this scale.
