State Street steps up hunt for 80,000 sq ft HQ in Edinburgh

State Street Bank, the US asset servicing firm, is stepping up the hunt for a potential new headquarters in Edinburgh, with the firm understood to be looking at options for 80,000 sq ft of offices in Scotland’s capital, CoStar News can reveal.

The financial services group has appointed Cushman & Wakefield to review its options in light of an upcoming lease event at its current headquarters in the city, which also acts as its main European hub.
