Goodman halts Hammersmith Embankment sale plans

Australian investment trust Goodman has taken off of the market Hammersmith Embankment, one of west London’s key office sites, after talks to sell it to Workspace for up in excess of £120m ended, CoStar News understands.

Goodman instructed Strutt & Parker to sell at the beginning of the year after talks to include the River Thames fronting site as part of a deal that would have seen joint-venture partners Goodman and Legal & General secure investment from Chinese sovereign wealth fund CIC in the Arlington Business Parks Partnership (ABPP) fund did not proceed.
