Scottish film studio set for expansion

Wardpark Studios, which produces the popular Scottish historical drama series Outlander, has secured planning permission for a new multi-million pound film and television studio at Wardpark in Cumbernauld, including 43,000 sq ft of new space.

Wardpark, advised planning consultancy Barton Willmore, has secured enhancements to the existing studio facilities at the site, as well as the new extension which will include a multi-function studio, production and office space.
