Paddington £1bn "Shard" plans lodged

Great Western Developments, a subsidiary of Singaporean publicly listed Hotel Properties, and its development partner Sellar Property Group have formally submitted their plans to build what has been dubbed a sister scheme to London Bridge's iconic Shard on the site of the former Royal Mail sorting office in Paddington.

The scheme at 31 London Street, situated adjacent to Paddington Station. will be designed by Shard architect Renzo Piano's Renzo Piano Building Workshop and development managed by Shard and London Bridge quarter developer Sellar Property.
