Morrisons buys Derby hub

Supermarket giant Morrisons has bought the 410,000 sq ft distribution hub it already occupies in Derby on the back of selling off large swathes of its UK real estate, CoStar can reveal.

Hudson Advisors, the loan servicing division wholly-owned by Lone Star, has sold the Derby Distribution Centre on Sinfin Lane to the supermarket chain as an owner occupier deal. It is thought that Morrisons has paid between £8m and £8.5m for the property.
