BMO buys Parkgate for £175m and closes £116m Eastgate sale to Harbert

BMO Real Estate Partners (BMO) has acquired the Parkgate Shopping Park, one of the top five largest retail parks in the UK, from the Hercules Unit Trust (HUT) for around £175m.

Parkgate in Rotherham originally formed part of the Project Orange portfolio put up for sale in February by the HUT, a joint venture between British Land and Schroder Real Estate which acquired the shopping centre for £260m from Stadium Group in February 2005.
