Chris Eigelaar and Peter Walker
Chris Eigelaar and Peter Walker have been named chairs at the United Kingdom's Institute of Hospitality. Eigelaar, resort director at the 319-room The Belfry Hotel & Resort, Birmingham, is the new chair of Midlands. Walker, general manager at the 42-room Fonab Castle Hotel, in Pitlochry, is the new chair of Scotland. Walker recently joined the hotel from the role of managing director at Aberdeen hotel Maryculter House.
George Georgousis
George Georgousis has been named general manager at the 21-room Grace Hotel, Auberge Resorts Collection, on the Greek island of Santorini. He joins the hotel, the brand’s European debut, from another hotel on the island, the Andronis Arcadia.

Tobias Ernst
Tobias Ernst has been named director of operations at the 220-room Shangri-La Jeddah. His previous role was as director of food and beverage at the Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Hamburg.
Mickael Meunier
Mickael Meunier has been appointed general manager of the 123-room Grand Hôtel Cayré, which is due to open on July 1. He arrives at the hotel, part of hotel brand Miiro, from the same role at peer Paris property Les Bain, Paris.
Francesco Pantalone
Francesco Pantalone has been named general manager at the 210-room InterContinental Hotel The Red Sea Resort that will be part of one of Saudi Arabia’s giga-projects, in this case the Red Sea Project. The hotel is due to open in 2025.
Christian Hirt
Christian Hirt has joined the 108-room Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp as managing director. His most recent role was as managing director of both the Fairmont Doha and Raffles Doha, two Accor-branded hotels that share the Katara Towers in the Qatari capital.
Alexander Wheatley
Alexander Wheatley has joined Irish hotel firm The Doyle Collection, which has eight properties in Ireland, the U.K. and U.S., as head of customer insights and data. He arrives from the role of head of data and insight at the National Theatre on London’s South Bank.
