Curtain raised on £5bn Greenwich masterplan

Knight Dragon has lodged its revised outline masterplan for the £5bn, 15m sq ft Greenwich Peninsula site, substantially increasing the residential element to build up to 13,000 homes at the site as well as significantly increasing the number of high rise buildings and developing a circa 400,000 sq ft film and media studio at the heart of a major creative digital arts district.

In its covering letter Nathaniel Lichfield & Partners on behalf of the Knight Dragon writes: “It has become evident over recent years that the 2004 masterplan is outdated an longer merits the needs of the present day or for the future. KDDL want to deliver a vision for the Peninsula which is dynamic, safe and exciting place which serves the existing andfurture residents of th Peninsula and the wider Greenwich area.”
