Due to the coronavirus pandemic, New York has now banned all non-essential construction activity. Work is allowed to continue on affordable housing, hospitals and infrastructure projects across the region, however, and many luxury apartment properties that are under construction in New York City have some affordable component. As it currently stands, these projects should be allowed to move forward with construction.
