Quadrant bags Glasgow retailer

Private equity firm KKR and asset manager Quadrant Estates have signed variety retailer B&M for the final unit at Glasgow's Great Western Retail Park.

KKR and Quadrant bought Great Western Retail Park in June 2013 as part of a portfolio of multi-let retail warehouses and since acquiring the park have filled the remaining two units, securing headline rents of up to £23 per sq ft. B&M has taken a 15-year lease and will commence trading at unit eight in December 2014.
