Asa Yapa joined Los Angeles-based CIM Group as managing director of investments, with a focus on the net lease sector. As part of the company’s real estate equity team, she will help grow the net lease platform through acquisitions and sale-leaseback originations involving long-term single-tenant assets in retail and industrial markets throughout the country, the firm said.
Yapa, based in New York, brings over 20 years of experience advising corporate tenants and private equity sponsors to the role. She previously served as director of single-tenant and structured products at Eastdil Secured, where she advised clients on transactions, sale-leaseback deals, build-to-suit financings, portfolio recapitalizations, joint ventures and structured capital solutions.
Ann MacDiarmid has returned to JLL as executive vice president of retail corporate services and the real estate services firm's transaction management practice lead. Based in Chicago, she will oversee major client accounts, manage onboarding and program delivery for new accounts and new business development, JLL said. With over 20 years of experience, she joined JLL from Cushman & Wakefield. At JLL, she reports to Walter Wahlfedt, senior managing director, retail corporate services and Midwest retail lead.
Foundry Commercial appointed Austin Reynolds as deal principal in Dallas. In his new role, he will source, structure and execute development and investment opportunities across North Texas, with a focus on ground-up development, the firm said. He brings two decades of experience to the position, having joined Foundry from CBRE Investment Management.

Global construction firm Skanska formed a new digital transformation and solutions team led by Durham, North Carolina-based Will Senner as senior vice president, digital transformation and solutions. The team will scale artificial intelligence and technology to help enhance project delivery. Senner, who has more than 20 years of experience at the builder and development firm, most recently served as the firm’s senior vice president of preconstruction for Skanska USA Building’s mid-Atlantic and metro New York regions, while also leading the operating unit’s data solutions team.
Real estate professionals Dan Zelson, Cliff Sirlin and Ben Harris launched a new investment firm focused to help consumer businesses grow nationally. Charter Growth Partners, based in Westport, Connecticut, will focus on food and beverage, health and wellness, specialty retail, sports and entertainment investment opportunities, the team said. The trio’s collective experience includes managing over $2 billion in capital and helping grow over 150 companies.
Baltimore’s Continental Realty Corp. named Julia Watson as the firm’s vice president for multifamily operations and strategy. In her new role, Watson will oversee regional operations, talent management, property marketing and learning and development, CRC said.
She brings over 20 years of experience to the position, having most recently served as executive vice president at Trinitas Ventures.
