Belfry owner swoops on £500m De Vere hotels portfolio

The American private equity owner of the historic Belfry golf course has agreed terms to buy the 25 hotels and operating business of Village Urban Resorts, De Vere’s mid-market hotels chain, for nearly £500m, CoStar News can reveal.

KSL Capital Partners has gone under offer to buy the Village Urban Resorts chain, which owns the hotel portfolio spread across the UK, for more than £490m following a close competitive bidding process.
