Despite increasing in July, manufacturing sales in Edmonton dip to lowest annual total since 2021

Manufacturing sales in Edmonton have been edging lower over the last three years. Year-to-date totals are down 8.3% relative to the same time frame in 2024. While tariffs are likely to affect overall manufacturing sales volume, they're just the latest in several concerns affecting the competitiveness of Edmonton manufacturing firms already seeing reduced production volumes, resulting in recent space contractions among manufacturing firms.
