After completing the Canada Line in 2009 just before the 2010 Winter Olympics, TransLink has now confirmed that it plans to add its first additional station since opening. The Capstan station, located near the northeast corner of No 3. Road and Capstan Way will become the 17th station on the Canada Line and is expected to open in late 2022, five years earlier than expected.
