Tin Hat presses on with Hinckley makeover

The Tin Hat Regeneration Partnership, a Wilson Bowden and Ashcroft joint venture, is to begin work on a £60m retail-led development of Hinckley town centre in Leicestershire in March 2014 after securing a funding deal with Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council and Osprey Equity Partners.

The £60m, 225,000 sq ft The Crescent shopping centre will comprise a 100,000 sq ft supermarket, let to Sainsbury’s, a five screen Cineworld cinema, six restaurants and 75,000 sq ft of open A1 ‘big box’ retail, together with 550 car parking spaces and a new bus station.
