A rumor that Erewhon will be testing deliveries in Dallas is just one of the latest signs of California-based companies eyeing the Lone Star State for expansion. For many brokers and developers, the match is a logical next step for these firms, which are looking to expand beyond the West Coast. Texas, in particular, has several trends working in its favor, with a statewide growth trajectory resembling California’s of decades ago.
