LandSecs wins Ealing Filmworks approval

A multi-screen cinema is one step closer to returning to Ealing, as part of a wider film quarter known as Ealing Filmworks, after Land Securities’ outline planning application was approved by Ealing Council’s Planning Committee last night.

Ealing Filmworks is set to transform the derelict site of the former Empire cinema site opposite the Town Hall on New Broadway, along with14-16 Bond Street, Walpole House and Flava’s Bar on Mattock Lane, into a high-quality leisure destination. The proposed scheme will open up the site, creating new pedestrianised routes between Walpole Park, New Broadway and Bond Street.
