North American institution buys Manchester's 'Canary Wharf of the North'

Edinburgh-based fund manager Hunter Property Fund Management acting on behalf of an undisclosed North American institution has bought Exchange Quay, Salford Quay’s 433,637 sq ft “Canary Wharf of the North” office complex.

Details of the price have not been disclosed but it is understood that Hunter has paid closer to £30m than the £32.5m asking price.
