JLL’s San Francisco office is adding leadership with the hiring of Megan Woodring, who joins the brokerage as a senior director after a decade at rival CBRE.
Woodring will focus on debt and equity advisory across various property types, JLL said in a statement. She has more than 12 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and has been involved in the origination and execution of $10 billion in debt placement with a focus on structured finance and construction loan transactions.
Woodring’s past 10 years were spent at CBRE with her most recent title as a director in capital markets. She is a graduate of the University of California San Diego and a member of a number of professional organizations, including NAIOP, the Bay Area Mortgage Association and the Commercial Real Estate Women Network.
“Megan’s strong relationships and robust experience across the financing spectrum will greatly enhance our ability to deliver innovative solutions for our clients as we move into what we predict, will be a more active market alongside a more stable interest rate environment in 2024 and 2025,” said Charles Halladay, senior managing director in the statement.
Woodring’s hire comes a week after JLL said Kirsten Grado joined JLL as its newest managing director to bolster its Silicon Valley office. Grado also spent more than a decade at CBRE as managing director and sales director. She will spearhead the opening of a new Silicon Valley office.
About a year ago, JLL brought on former Stanford quarterback and fellow CBRE alum Todd Husak as its senior managing director in the Silicon Valley office.
