According to the latest RCA figures, domestic and European cross-border investment into European real estate is on the rise at the expense of international investors (79 per cent in H1 2020 compared to 76 per cent in 2019) and we expect competition between European investors to become fiercer as the year progresses, writes Tristam Larder, Savills Joint Head of Regional Investment Advisory, EMEA.
