Searches in six countries as investigators target German property developer

In an investigation targeting a 61‑year‑old property developer from Düsseldorf, more than 400 officers from the police and public prosecutor’s office have searched 49 sites across six countries. The main suspect was arrested at his finca on Ibiza, while another suspect was detained near Düsseldorf. Arrest warrants had been issued for both men.
