Contracts exchanged for £52.8m Warrington sale and leaseback

Travis Perkins has exchanged contracts with Standard Life Investments Long Lease Property Fund for the £52.8m sale and leaseback of its new 631,000 sq ft regional distribution centre development at Omega North in Warrington.

The price reflects a net initial yield of 5.6%. On completion of the development, Travis Perkins (Properties) Ltd will take a 25-year lease with five-yearly upward-only RPI rent reviews, which is to be guaranteed by the parent plc company.
