Yorkshire property tycoon handed suspended sentence

Former Leeds United Football Club director Simon Morris has been given a suspended prison sentence for hiding cash and gold bars from creditors after he was made bankrupt by the collapse of his property empire.

Morris, 35, pleaded guilty this week at a Newcastle court to two offences under the Insolvency Act.
