Alexandria Real Estate Equities has paid $13.2 million for three parcels that make it the sole owner of a wedge-shaped chunk of downtown Seattle's popular Pioneer Square district, which is emerging as a desirable neighborhood with the demolition of an elevated freeway near the waterfront.
