Brookfield to take joint control of the Pinnacle

Brookfield's construction arm has been brought on as project manager of the 1m sq ft Pinnacle tower in the City in a move which will give the firm 50% control of the scheme’s development alongside development manager Arab Investments, CoStar News can reveal.

Following January’s legal settlement between contractor Brookfield Multiplex and the Pinnacle’s owners after a dispute over unpaid fees, Brookfield’s construction division and Arab Investments will now take an equal role in all aspects of the 63-storey Pinnacle’s development, including how the newly designed scheme will look, leasing decisions, and negotiations over potential funding arrangements.
