Japanese giant NTT lands £77m Strand buy

NTT Urban Development, a subsidiary of Japanese telecoms company Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corporation, has bought 265 Strand, WC2, for around £77m, CoStar News can reveal.

NTT, advised by DTZ, today completed a deal to buy the prime 113,000 sq ft office building from German fund manager MPC Capital for a net initial yield of just under 6%, following an extensive marketing campaign to sell the asset.
