Prudential under offer to buy £70m City hub

Prudential has gone under offer to buy its own HQ in the City of London in a move which ends a year-long search for a new London hub, CoStar News can reveal.

In March, the Pru opened discussions with landlord Irish investor Shieldpoint over the possibility of buying its 105,663 sq ft EC4 headquarters at 12 Arthur Street after scouring the City market for potential relocation options. It has since taken on more space in the building as leases to other tenants have expired.
