Selfridges to buy £130m office block neighbour for Xmas

Selfridges is buying a key property neighbouring its flagship Oxford Street store for around £130m, increasing its holdings in the area as it brings forward plans for a major expansion of its iconic home, CoStar News can reveal.

The retailer is understood to be signing an off market deal today to buy the neighbouring Nations House office development from Hermes Real Estate Investment Management Limited, concluding secret negotiations over the sale. The 103,000 sq ft building at 103 Wigmore Street, W1, is located at the back of the Selfridges store.
