LandSec set for affordable housing concession in Victoria

Land Securities' plans for a large-scale affordable housing development that will enable its £1bn Victoria development program to come forward are set for consent as Westminster council takes a more flexible approach to residential land use credits.

The decision is expected to be rubberstamped at a Westminster planning meeting next week (11 September) and will come days after the government introduced legislation allowing developers to appeal if the viability of a scheme is being hit by the number of affordable homes required by section 106 agreements.
