Chelsfield and L&R gain Waterloo consent

London & Regional and Chelsfield have gained consent for their 1.42m sq ft redevelopment of Elizabeth House, next to London’s Waterloo railway station, despite English Heritage’s objections to the scheme’s impact on Big Ben.

Lambeth council last night consented to the Sir David Chipperfield-designed plans for two buildings con York Road. However, the scheme has received strong objections from English Heritage.
