Nationwide in talks to take City block for London HQ

Nationwide is in talks to move its London headquarters from Midtown to a self-contained building in the heart of the City.

The building society is in discussions to take the whole of 1 Threadneedle Street, EC2, opposite the Bank of England for its new base in the capital, which will comprise office space and a flagship branch on the ground floor.
