Camden council mulls town hall annexe sale

Camden council is planning to bring back to market a prized development opportunity opposite London’s King’s Cross St Pancras station after long-running talks to sell the site to a Roxylight-led consortium were shelved, CoStar News has learned.

A joint venture led by Roxylight secured the 0.6-acre Camden Town Hall Annexe site on Euston Road in February of last year ahead of rival bids from hoteliers, Barratt, Hines and Development Securities. It is thought to have bid around £25m for the 100,000 sq ft, 1970s building, where Camden has already explored plans for a high-rise tower of 26 storeys or more.
