US hotel hires, promotions: Sage Hospitality Group appoints president and CEO

Del Olmo has been appointed as president and CEO of Sage Hospitality Group. Most recently, he served as co-CEO alongside Sage co-founder Walter Isenberg, leading enterprise strategy, performance, operations and owner relations across Sage’s award-winning hotel and restaurant portfolio.

Harrell has been appointed as vice president of acquisitions and business development at Davidson Hospitality Group. Prior to Davidson, he served in a similar business development and investment role at PM Hotel Group, focusing on expanding the firm’s third-party management and ownership relationships nationwide.

Houghton has been appointed as senior vice president of luxury operations at Davidson Hospitality Group. He most recently served as task force managing director and general manager at various resorts in the Davidson portfolio, from Baker's Cay Resort to Buoy Haus Beach Resort St. Thomas, Autograph Collection and The Westin St. Thomas Beach Resort & Spa.

Martinez has been appointed as vice president of operations, Americas at Virgin Hotels Collection. Her career spans prestigious roles with InterContinental Hotels Group, Six Senses, and Kimpton Hotels, among others, where she consistently elevated guest experiences, optimized performance, and spearheaded property openings and turnarounds.

Owen has been promoted to senior vice president of sales at PM Hotel Group. Since joining PM Hotel Group in 2014, she has been a key leader within the organization, playing a central role in building and leading high-performing sales teams across PM hotel Group’s portfolio.

Pederson has been appointed as chief operating officer at PM Hotel Group. Most recently, he served as president of Sightline Hospitality, a third-party management company recognized for its owner-focused approach and performance across lifestyle and experiential lodging assets.

Sripathi has been appointed as chief financial officer at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. He joined Wyndham in 2021 and has served in a variety of leadership roles at the company, most recently as chief development officer – North America.

Beer has been appointed as general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Boston in Boston. Most recently, he served as vice president of asset management for Twin Bridges Hospitality, an asset management company co-founded by members of the Marriott family.

Casillo has been appointed as general manager of the JW Marriott Nashville in Nashville, Tennessee. Her tenure as general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Boston Downtown/North Station was marked by strong operational performance and industry recognition, including Boston HSMAI General Manager of the Year and Marriott’s Hotel Opening of the Year Award in 2018.

Drosos has been appointed as general manager of the Hilton Anaheim in Anaheim, California. He most recently served as general manager of the historic Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel in Chicago, where he guided one of the brand’s most iconic and complex assets to record-breaking financial performance while elevating guest satisfaction and team member engagement.

Ghorab has been appointed as general manager of The Bellevue in Philadelphia. He joins The Bellevue following his role as general manager of The Sanderling Resort & Spa, where he helped to establish the property as a top luxury resort in the American South.

Johnson has been appointed as general manager of the Thompson Houston in Houston. Most recently, she relocated to Houston to support the opening of Thompson Houston as hotel manager, where she was instrumental in shaping the hotel’s operational foundation, team culture and guest journey.

Spieler has been appointed as complex director of marketing at the W Philadelphia and Element Philadelphia Downtown in Philadelphia. Most recently, she served as senior marketing manager, overseeing a diverse portfolio that included The Notary Hotel, Philadelphia Airport Marriott, Bridgewater Marriott, and UNFRAMED, Autograph Collection in Miami Beach.

Trinko has been appointed as marketing manager at Hotel Teatro in Denver. Most recently, she served as marketing manager for a boutique luxury retailer, where she oversaw social media, content creation and brand strategy across digital and print platforms.

Turner has been appointed as director of sales at SkyBeach Resort in St. Petersburg, Florida. Most recently, she served as director of sales at Hotel Flor in Downtown Tampa, where she spearheaded the property’s rebranding as part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton.

Bollenbacher has been appointed as executive chef at The Quail in Carmel Valley in Carmel, California. Most recently, he served as executive chef at Vespera Resort in Pismo Beach, where he led culinary strategy and operations.

Min has been appointed as director of food and beverage at the Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs in Palm Springs, California. Most recently, he served as director of food and beverage at The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel in Huntington Beach, California, leading award-winning operations across multiple dining venues.

Nuri has been appointed as director of food and beverage at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Most recently at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, Nuri oversaw food-and-beverage operations across 24 outlets within a 975-room resort, leading a team of more than 800 staff.

Soto has been appointed as chef de cuisine at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel's Hau Tree Cantina restaurant in Kohala Coast, Hawaii. He brings extensive culinary experience to Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, most recently serving as sous chef at Four Seasons Resort Hualālai, where he played a key role in the opening of the resort’s newly remodeled flagship restaurant, ‘Ulu.

Weber has been appointed as executive sous chef at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley, Arizona. His career has spanned notable destinations including Walt Disney World, Bay Hill Country Club, where he cooked for Arnold Palmer, and Four Seasons Resort Orlando, along with leadership roles at The Current Hotel in Tampa and Southbound in Richmond.

Wiggins has been appointed as executive chef at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Most recently serving as executive chef at the Arizona Biltmore, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, Wiggins led culinary operations, cultivating a high-performance kitchen culture.

Bornosus has been appointed as director of operations at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach in Waikiki Beach, Hawaii. Throughout his career journey, he has held numerous key leadership positions at distinguished properties within The Ritz-Carlton portfolio, including The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee; The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands; and The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong.

Young has been appointed as managing director at Noelle in Nashville, Tennessee. He joins the property after most recently serving as managing director at The Sanderling Resort in the Outer Banks, North Carolina.
